The Liviliti Paptizer CPAP sanitizer is the first portable smart sanitizer to integrate UV-C light, heat and circulated air to provide the highest level of medical grade sanitizing. Multiple research studies and reports show that when biological organisms are exposed to deep UV light in the range of 200 nm to 290 nm it is absorbed by DNA, RNA and proteins. Absorption by proteins leads to the rupture of cell walls and the death of the organism. Absorption by DNA or RNA is known to cause inactivation of the DNA or RNA double helix strands through the formation of thymine dimmers. When enough of these dimmers are created the DNA replication process is interrupted and the cell cannot replicate. There are no known UVC resistant germs.
