Description
These American-made hanging dial scales are ideal for a variety of applications and are designed for produce weighing. The 8 inch (20-cm) dial is easy to read and protected by a lens while the plastic housing eliminates dents and scratches, thereby enhancing long-term use and accuracy. The heavy-duty plated 4 inch (102 mm) S-hook suspends commodities while weighing. Different models available inculde your choice of single or double dial with flat platter, stainless steel bowl, galvanized scoop, or just an S-hook. Available in capacities of 20, 40, and 60 lb, or 10 and 20 kg. The MCS-60M model incorporates an adjustable pointer which may be set anywhere on the dial in order to factor net and gross weight. This is a good quality, easy to read scale. We use it to weigh live fish at a fish hatchery. It was a little pricey but worth it as far as scales go. It is convenient because it displays on both sides, so the person dropping fish in the bucket and the person recording the weight can see the scale reading at the same time.
