Description

These versatile packs can be warmed in the microwave to help relax muscle and increase blood flow or cooled in the freezer to help reduce swelling, reduce blood flow and promote healing. I have soft bones and I tend to sprain my ankles quite often and a good hot cold pack is so hard to find. I came across this at the drs office my last visit and I asked what it was. This is the best ice pack ever - it stays cold for hours before you need to put it back into the freezer! It can also be used as a hot pack too. Just pop it into the microwave to heat up. The best part? It has a fabric cover on the outside - so you can put it right on your skin without the need for towels! It's soft and the temperature is perfect.

I've used this hot/cold pack in my chiropractic practice and love it. My patients tell me it is much better than ice packs and wet towels which can be a hassel to deal with. The advantage to this hot/cold pack is that it stays hot and cold for hours before you need to put it back in the freezer or the microwave. Also, it is much more flexible than a standard ice pack, it lets you ice or heat areas of the body that you normally would'nt be able to reach without it!
