Description

Unique design features a seat riser made of 2 parts that are hinged together, allowing the ring to be lifted in the same manner as your regular toilet seat. The seat is installed using the existing toilet seat and lid and does not appreciably change the appearance of the toilet. It elevates the seating position by 3" (7.6 cm) for easy sitting and rising. The hinged benefit makes cleaning as easy as 1-2-3. Supports up to 350 lb. (159 kg). Hardware kit included.

I recently purchased the Ableware Hinged Elevated Seat for Elongated Toilets from wholesalepoint.com. I have polymyositis (a rare autommune muscle disorder). Some days I can do some things, and the next day I can't do anything at all. The unpredictability of this disorder is hard to adjust to but I do what I have to do so I can live a normal life. When I face an unpredictable challenge I like to find a quick solution and get on with life. It gives me power over my fears and I can mark another thing off my list. Your regular toilet seat and lid fits on top of my Hinged Elevated Seat and both are bolted into the commode to provide stability. It makes rising up from toilet very easy. As I was anxious to get it I paid for and delivered I was very pleased with the speedy service. Guess what? I got it in 2 days. It really makes a life a heck of a lot easier for this old guy!
