Recommended Balance Beam Scales:
HealthOMeter 402LB–500 Lb Capacity, Measures in Lbs Only, Height Rod (RECOMMENDED)
PLEASE NOTE: If you are looking for a Balance Beam (Physician) Scale, we highly recommend the 402LB because you can read the weight from both sides of the scale. This way the weight recorder can be facing the person who is on the scale and they can both view the weight instead of having to look over the shoulder to get the reading.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are looking for a high-quality medical-grade digital scale, we recommend the HealthOMeter 752KL. It has a large sturdy platform, a 600Lb capacity, comes with the A/C Adapter and fits nicely in the TOPS Soft-Sided Carrying Case. THe 498KL was introducted recently as an excellant choice in-between the 752KL and the more economical 349KLX. These two models operate on batteries or can be plugged in the wall by using the optional A/C Adapter. These transportable scales are a great way to protect and safeguard your scale when you transport it or pack it away in-between meetings.

PLEASE NOTE: If you want a digital scale with the "look" of a traditional medical scale that you can keep set up, then these post or column scale are a good choice. Keep in mind that the Health-O-Meter 597KL and 599KL are identical in features and construction as the 752KL, but mounted on a pole.
